Glider is a Bluewave kayak that combines inflatable paddle board design with kayak technology. This has resulted in a strong, inflatable kayak that remains rigid when it comes into contact with surf. This kayak can be used at the beach as well as on rivers, canals and lakes. It is a family friendly kayak and the inflatable design allows for easy transportation and storage.

The Bluewave kayak inflates to 10 PSI for a rigid construction. This level of pressure results in stability, comfort and a secure watercraft. This drop-stitch kayak can be deflated and stored within a carry bag when not in use. The carry bag features a wheels and backpack straps for easy transportation. There are additionally multiple straps on the carry bag for the load to be shared. The tapered drop-stitch on the side results in high buoyancy makes this Glider kayak rigid when fully inflated. Additional padded cushion blocks are provided as optional inserts to accompany the seats for increased comfort and elevation. These cushion blocks can be easily removed or attached to the seat by Velcro. This kayak design offers storage space for longer journeys and is perfect if you’d like to head out on a solitary paddle. Alternatively, if you’d prefer company this design can be used as a tandem kayak. This kayak is suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers.

This Bluewave kayak is a family friendly design, with it’s flexible design ideal for individual or double use, and it’s inflatable design ensuring it is compact for easy transportation and storage.


FOOT RESTS A set of two (2) padded foot rests are provided with each Glider kayak. They simply clip into place using the D-rings and are designed to work as a brace as well as offer additional support. The padded design is created to provide maximum comfort.	FOUR PIECE PADDLES Four piece kayak paddles offer the same convenience of easy transportation and compact design as the inflatable kayak. These paddles work by having their halves and blades clipped together to build a full sized paddle, whilst simultaneously ensuring the paddles can fit inside the carrier bag alongside the Glider.	REMOVABLE CUSHION Removable seat cushion blocks are offered to provide additional comfort and height to kayak seats. These optional inserts can be attached or removed from the seat through Velcro attachments.

STORAGE SPACE Bungee straps and space at the bow of the boat provide plenty of storage space for dry bags and other items. The bungee straps provide a secure storage space on the top of the boat, whilst the bow of the boat allows for items to be kept safely wedged into the space available.	CONVENIENT TRANSPORTATION The Glider can be easily transported in its deflated form by being pulled within its wheeled bag. Alternatively, the carrier bag also acts as a backpack and can be carried comfortably this way. The carrier bag is large enough to contain all parts of the kayak and it’s accessories.	DROP-STITCH KAYAK The Glider is a drop stitch kayak. This inflatable design is what provides the Glider with its superior strength and rigidity. Thousands of threads connect the top and bottom layers in drop stitch design, ensuring the kayak doesn’t expand beyond a certain size within the air chamber. This makes a much more rigid structure and doesn’t put the same level of stress on the kayak that other kayaks do when fully inflated.

Delivery

When ordering a kayak, please make sure to leave your mobile phone number for delivery purposes. In some cases lack of contact number may cause delivery delay and additional charge for redelivery.

Please be aware that rigid kayaks may arrive with the occasional cosmetic mark or scratch caused by transportation. This is unfortunately unavoidable due to the size of the product and will not affect the performance of the kayak.

KAYAK DELIVERY

All rigid Kayaks have a standard delivery charge of £39.99 for UK mainland (per kayak). Scotland, NI, Ireland and Off-Shore Islands carry an additional delivery charge and will be calculated at point of check out. If you live in the UK Isles (including IOW), Scottish Highlands, Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland or Eire, extra delivery charges and extended delivery times will apply. Please contact us for specific delivery quotations to these locations.

Delivery Timescale UK mainland (exclusions apply): please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. Depending on your location, it may take up to 20 working days for delivery to the UK highlands and islands. Please note that our carrier will contact you to confirm your kayak delivery so please be sure to provide contact details at checkout.

Local Pickup
If you live locally you might want to pick your item up directly from us. Although we will not be able to deduct the whole carriage charge for your order, as packaging and handling are included in the price, we may be able to offer a reduced carriage charge if you collect. Important Delivery Advice

Please do not accept delivery from the courier if you judge that the package and contents have been damaged.
Please do not sign for a package as damaged even if the driver asks you to do so.
Signing for damage will also void the insurance covering that consignment.
If you accept a damaged shipment we will not be able to make a claim, so please be sure that it is in good condition before signing for it.
You will be offered the option to back-order the items and should you choose to do this, we will endeavour to give you a true indication of the date upon which you should expect to receive said goods. If we fail to secure the goods you have back ordered within a reasonable (the estimated) time, you will be under no obligation to proceed further with that order.
