Product Description

Inflatable 16ft Full Drop Stitch Canadian Canoe Package

A full-size canadian canoe that fits into a backpack!

  • Length: 480cm, width: 96cm, height: 51cm
  • Capacity: up to 400kg
  • Pack weight (including accesories): 32kg

The high pressure full drop-stitch design makes our inflatable drop stitch canoe extremely rigid and perfect for paddling with none of the storage and transport hassles associated with a traditional rigid Canadian canoe.

Two adults and two children (up to 400Kg) can fit in it with ease or it can be loaded up for a camping trip. Its shape provides good tracking, as well as manoeuvrability when needed and three separate air compartments ensure good safety on the open water. Can be used on rivers, lakes, canals, and open water.

Included in the package:

  • Inflatable canoe
  • 3x paddles
  • alumnium seats
  • Wheeled carry bag / backpack
  • Fin
  • Two-way speed pump
  • Repair kit

The aluminium seat is secured onto a track-like system. When both sides of the seat are in place, this causes pressure onto the sides of the canoe making the seat very stable.

Ok if you want to spend time IN the water rather than ON the water
1.5/5
I've owned loads of different Kayaks and Canoes over the years. Plus have been a member of the Brtish Canoe Union and now Canoe England. This has truly got to be the most unstable and tippy canoe ive ever had. When I unpacked it i was really impressed. Simple inflation and SUP board firmness. But almost unusable because of the instability. It was like leaning back on the rear legs of a school chair! but with no warning at all............Back in the water! Luckily I was wearing a 6mm wetsuit !! Defineatley no use for family use. Unless you really dont like them. Sorry its negative, but it not well thought out at all.

Amazing canoe!!!
5.0/5
What a canoe! Fantastic quality, seriously heavy duty. It inflates in under 10 minutes and you’re ready to go. Used it in The Lakes on Wastwater at Easter 2022 and Chichester harbour. Had two kids and an adult in it, and two adults and one kid - both situations there is plenty of room, it’s really quite a large boat. Super stable which was important for me having kids in it. Picked it up from the Bluewave warehouse, the chaps there couldn’t have been more welcoming, even offered us tea and cake! This canoe is just exceptional! It’s a bargain as well, there are other companies out there asking twice the price for the same thing. Absolutely love it, and looking forward to years of fun with this canoe. Oh and it stows down into a generously sized bag no problem and fits easily in my car boot. Fantastic!

Think I'm a bit of a guinea pig as seem to be the first to use one of these! Not a very experienced paddler so please take my opinions with a pinch of salt! This is a big canoe, there is enough room for 3 adults and a couple of small children provided this does not go over the weight limit. The centre seat is best fitted when the side chambers are partially inflated, but the 2 bow and stern seats fit fine at full pressure at least on my boat. Seats are sturdy but I will add some cushions later as they have little padding to prevent these getting soaked. An understandable compromise. Seats are low enough to feel stable and a kneeling posture with bum on seat is possible. The seats also tie the sides together, though it doesn't feel this is needed as the boat is so solid. Pump and bag are good, the bag is very well thought out with lots of room and pockets for oars etc also has 3 wheels and lots of handles as this is quite a heavy bit of kit, so more people can muck in when it needs it. It's great to have the oars but I haven't used one as I have an alternative, they do seem solid and break down to 2 parts. The blades are strong enough and they have a T shaped end that helps you with your strokes. The skeg fits easily without needing to be hammered in or out as on both of my itiwits. I have only been out in the boat once so far and this was with my small 10 year old daughter, there was a fairly strong wind and I could not keep the canoe on track but I expect this is due to my lack of skill and my daughter's complete unwillingness to paddle! I have done a bit of googling and think I could manage on my own in a light breeze, but this boat would shine with 2 adults as it glides and tracks well. This is perfect for multiday trips, a couple of nights camping on the river or a leisurely paddle for a picnic or barbeque. There is a lot of room for gear. I have noticed a few details after 1 breif transport and a couple of hours bouncing bank to bank though. I wore holes in the bag going 100m over a tarmac carpark to the put in, maybe because I packed the seats in first or just badly packed in general and the nose of the keel was damaged by the river bank, what appears to be very much like gaffa tape on the bow where the hard plastic runs into the floor chamber has worn through. I will print a cover for this area. I think I will also print some gunnel covers too for peice of mind. This is an epic boat, I'm sure it will bring many hours of pleasure to any outdoor types who like to get out in it and plan some long paddles wth thier kit. I do think it needs a little tweaking in the bow area but it is a proper touring Canadian canoe that packs into a bag. It's a large bag! Hope I haven't missed anything out and hope this helps any potential buyers. I took a punt and am very happy with my purchase. Great for 2 but for me at this stage too much on my own, but then so is my itiwit 3 and this bluewave is a different level. Oh, one last thought, very important to me after years of class 2 canvass covered boats is you don't have to leave it out to dry for weeks!
