The Discovery Kayak
The BlueWave Discovery Kayak is designed to get everyone out on the water! This kayak is comfortable to sit in, well-balanced, super-stable, easily manoeuvrable and is perfectly at home on rivers, lakes, and at sea. The Discovery’s shorter overall length makes it highly adaptive and manoeuvrable while the clever design sits higher in the water than similar size kayaks, thus making the Discovery a perfect introductory kayak and a popular choice for rental fleets.
Although this kayak has been designed as the perfect first kayak, the BlueWave Discovery Kayak’s attributes make it ideal for recreational and serious paddlers alike. Due to the length of the kayak it is also far easier to load this kayak onto roof bars and into the back of cars and trailers.
The BlueWave Discovery kayak comes with a watertight storage compartment as well as handy built-in ergonomic carry handles and a luggage area with bungees. It comes complete with a two piece paddle, BlueWave’s deluxe padded seat for comfort and back support and has a wide range of foot positions.

When ordering a kayak, please make sure to leave your mobile phone number for delivery purposes. In some cases lack of contact number may cause delivery delay and additional charge for redelivery.
Please be aware that rigid kayaks may arrive with the occasional cosmetic mark or scratch caused by transportation. This is unfortunately unavoidable due to the size of the product and will not affect the performance of the kayak.
KAYAK DELIVERY
All rigid Kayaks delivery is free of charge to UK mainland. Orders to Isle of Wight, Grampian & Highlands carry an additional delivery charge that will be calculated at point of check out. Delivery to other islands is not available and such orders will be refunded.

If you live locally you might want to pick your item up directly from us. Although we will not be able to deduct the whole carriage charge for your order, as packaging and handling are included in the price, we may be able to offer a reduced carriage charge if you collect. Important Delivery Advice
- Please do not accept delivery from the courier if you judge that the package and contents have been damaged.
- Please do not sign for a package as damaged even if the driver asks you to do so.
- Signing for damage will also void the insurance covering that consignment.
- If you accept a damaged shipment we will not be able to make a claim, so please be sure that it is in good condition before signing for it.
- You will be offered the option to back-order the items and should you choose to do this, we will endeavour to give you a true indication of the date upon which you should expect to receive said goods. If we fail to secure the goods you have back ordered within a reasonable (the estimated) time, you will be under no obligation to proceed further with that order.
- We strongly advise you to keep all packaging and documents in case they are needed at a later date.
