Bluewave brings you the new Cruiser hybrid drop stitch inflatable double kayak package - combining inflatable paddle board and inflatable tube kayak design technology with everything you need to get out on the water.

The deck of the Cruiser double kayak is fully drop-stitched, making it super-rigid and incredibly stable once inflated due to the 1000's of reinforcing nylon stitches running through the deck chamber. The drop-stitched deck means that the Cruiser double kayak won’t fold in half the moment it hits some surf or mild water like cheap inflatable kayaks do. The high volume tube sides make this kayak super-stable on the water.

This drop-stitch double kayak transforms upon inflation, becoming super-strong and buoyant whilst still being easy to store and transport.

When fully inflated (max PSI of 10) this inflatable kayak offers a rigid construction, providing a stable and comfortable craft. Designed for paddling on lakes, calm rivers & at the seaside, the Cruiser makes a perfect entry-level inflatable drop stitched kayak for people who loves adventure without the hassle of transporting or storing a solid 2 person kayak.

When deflated the Bluewave Cruiser kayak fits in the carry bag supplied. The carry bag has wheels to allow easy transportation of the kayak and removes weight concerns. Alternatively, this carry bag also features straps meaning the bag may also be carried as backpack for when you want to get to those out of the way launching spots.

The Cruiser double inflatable kayak is perfect for cruising with 2 and a light load, but also has the volume and storage space needed for longer trips. It is a great choice for everyone from beginners to intermediate level paddlers.

A great boat at a very reasonable price

Double inflatable cruiser kayak. A great boat at a very reasonable price. I have used dozens of hard shell and inflatable kayaks and canoes over the past 35 years or so, so can give a fair comparison. We bought this because my wife can no longer paddle a boat entirely by her self due to medical reasons. The bow and stern design (hard plastic) help the boat move through the water very well for an inflatable, and it s tracks well. The drop stitch floor makes this boat very rigid, so almost no bending through waves, and with its two tubes it is a very stable boat, so unless it's taken out in very rough conditions, it will be difficult to capsize, and of course being inflatable, with two side tubes, it would be dry inside once flipped back up the right way. The hard plastic bow and stern do mean its a little bulky and awkward to fold up in comparison with a similar boat that has only inflatable bow and stern, but its worth it because of the superior performance. It takes just a few minutes to inflate, and is easy and light to carry with just one parson. The supplied pump is huge (and so efficient), but if you want to carry it with you on the water, it takes up most of the space behind to rear seat. I bought a very compact dual action pump on-line that gives us more space for storage. Although this boat can be paddles solo by fitting one seat only, for me at about 12 stone in weight, I am just too light, and the plastic bow cap does not sit low enough in the water to allow for good tracking, no matter how I trim the weight in the boat (me & kit), this is simply because there is so much buoyancy. Overall however, this is a great boat, well made and well worth the money.
